为鳝科动物黄鳝的血。夏、秋季捕捉取活鱼，刺头部取血鲜用。

【药性】

祛风通络，解毒，明目。外用治口眼歪斜、颜面神经麻痹（鳝鱼血涂听宫、地仓、太阳三穴。向右歪涂左侧，向左歪涂右侧。干后再涂）、跌打损伤、疔疮。
