为节肢动物门昆虫纲萤科萤火虫的干燥全虫。

【药性】

辛，温。归肺经。

明目，解毒，退热。用于小儿火疮伤，热气，目暗等，可与鲤鱼胆，点眼。如《太平圣惠方》。

【化学成分】

含有萤光素、三磷酸腺苷和萤光酶。

【用法用量】

1—5只，或适量。
